Organization
It refers to the name of the company - group as known at a Global level. For example, Coca Cola has different subsidieries around the globe, but they all belong to the same Company. The organizations are defined across the different airlines, as it can be common supplier for different airlines.
Organization types
Organizations can belong to five different types depending on their supply chain role
• Airline
Can be created in one of the next categories
• Global Airline • Regional Airline • Low cost (No frills) Airline
• Supplier
It refers to organizations delivering goods such as inflight equipment, wines, stationery, lounges equipment, wine among others. A supplier can be created in one of the next categories:
• Equipment Supplier • Software Supplier • Supplier of Food & Drinks • Wine Supplier
• Caterer/Service Provider
It refers to organizations delivering services such as catering, laundry, trolleys refurbishment
• 3rd Party Logistics Provider • 4th Party Logistics Provider
How to create / Update Organizations
Considering organizations are common between airlines, the update / creation of organizations is a centralized activity. In order to create / update an organization, you will need to raise a support ticket in Skysuite, providing the global name, organization type and category.
