Station AddItem

Relationships between stations and materials are known as Station Par Levels (commonly abbreviated to: SPLs).

When adding a new material to a station, you will need to select the material that you wish to add and associate with the station. To choose an item, click on the "Select Stock Item" button.

This will launch a pop-up window which will feature a data grid listing all the materials that can be added to the station, thus creating a new station par level.

There may be some materials which you can not see on the list though - there are three likely reasons why a material may not appear on the list (even after you have searched for it):

1) The material is ALREADY associated with the station - the data grid will ONLY list valid materials that are not already linked to the station; in other words if there is an existing station par level for material: ACME12345 and the station then the ACME12345 article will not appear on the list.

2) The status of the material is: Provisional, provisional materials are purposefully excluded from the list; only materials which are in status: Current or Phase Out will appear on the list. In this scenario, if you want to associate the material with the station, you will need to update the status of material vvia the "Stock Items" page (there are numerous routes to access this page - one route is "Reference Data" from the main menu --> "Stock Items" --> Stock Items on the 2nd tier menu options).

3) The status of the material is: Obsolete, as above, only materials which are in status: Current or Phase Out will appear on the list.
